Distress Ink - Day 1

Hi all,

I'm back as promised...Here is my creation for todays PoW.

I first stamped the Script Background stamp ( 4077KM) in Weathered Wood(TIM20257) Distress Ink onto a folded A5 White Card, then used the same inkpad and sponged around the edge of the card(Base card).

I stamped the Rose Stem Large (1304LK) (newly released) also in Weathered Wood Distress Inkpad onto a strip of Oceania 12 x 12 SB Paper (4774) from the Castaway Range. I tore down one edge and rubbed some ink down the torn edge, I then attatched a knotted piece of White Organdy Ribbon (9310) then attatched it to the inked base card. I think the ribbon gave it a nice soft touch.

Lastly I stamped the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Mini Messages Set (0066KK) onto a strip of white card and sponged around the edge with the distressed ink, and then applied magic mount and mounted it to the base card.

Make sure you check out what the other creative Bloggers have make (links are on the right hand side menu).

BLOG OF WAR

Hi all

Starting tomorrow (Monday 9th March) I will be participating in my first ' Blog War '.

What's a ' Blog War' ..I hear you ask.........

This idea was started by some very creative Kaszazz Consultants ( Lauren & Keta ) and I liked the idea I decided to join in the fun.

Each week we choose a Product of the Week (PoW) and each Blog War Paticipant creates a card or scrapbook page with the same product or technique. So at the end of the week, each Blog will have upto 5 different ideas (Mon - Fri) to use Kaszazz products for your inspiration.

At the end of the week there will be goodies to give away (depends on what each Blog owner decides to give as a prize). Only comments left on the Pow (Product/Project of the Week) on my Blog will be in the running to win the prize I am giving away.

To be in the running to win a prize you must leave a comment on the created item for that week (PoW only) ..So the more times you comment the more entries you get in the draw. All comments must be left by Sunday.Winners will be announced on the following Monday.

If you have any questions please email me know.

Check out the what the other very creative Consultant have created and comment on their Blogs...The Blog War partiipants are listed on the right hand side menu.

See you tomorrow when all the fun begins......with my first PoW creation.

Cheers

Happy 21st Birthday

Happy 21st Birthday Matt. Have a great day.

I created this card recently for my nephew who is 21 today. But didnt want to post it too early and spoil his surprise.

Wow....... how time flies it doesn't seem that long ago when he graced us with his presence when he came into this world.

Firstly the beer mug and the number stamps I used ARE NOT sold by Kaszazz, but all the other items used are Kaszazz products. I love the 3d effect that this card has altho it doesnt show the full effect in the photos.
