Hi all,

Here is the second project for this weeks Blog War Challenge.

I have created a very simple but effective card using Gold Emboss(10030), Berry Red Card(6183), and some coloured rhinestones(4555), and only cost approx. $1 to make.

I also used Swirl Tree Large (1952LI) and Merry Christmas (1748LE) stamps. Swirl and flourish stamps are my most favourite things at the moment.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY - Blog War Challenge - Project 1

Hi All,

I hope you had a great week end.

This weeks Blog War Challenge is...... " Christmas in July" where we will be show casing the gorgeous range of Christmas Stamps and Christmas SB Papers available from Kaszazz.

Our range of Christmas Stamps can be found on Pages 133 - 139 in the current Kaszazz Catalogue as well as the New July Products flier, which can be viewed by clicking here.

Here is my project for today.

I have gold embossed " Merry Bauble (1744LK) image and used the red Aquacolor Crayon to colour the ribbon. The bauble image is hidden under the pointsettia flower.

The Piontettia flower was punched using the Super and Jumbo Daisy Punches, I gold embossed a piece of Berry Red card with large Swirl Tree (1952LI) before punching out the Daisy shapes, to create a pattern on the flower petals. I rubbed the back of the flower petals in a circular motion with a rounded end object while resting on a mouse pad and then turned them over to the front and rubbed in the centre of the Daisy to give the petals more dimension.

The leaves of the pointsettia were punched using the Super Daisy from Holly card, I added a yellow rhinestone to the centre of the flower, then attached the Pointsetta with Magic Mount to the base card.

The newly released Fancy Flourish (4222KK) Stamp was inked in Ancient Page Pine Ink (72016) around the edge of the card.

I love this new Flourish Stamp ..its just gorgeous.

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC - Blog War Challenge - Project 4

Hi all,

Firstly to all those who asked and emailed me reguarding creating the Bow in yesterdays project...thank you for your comments.... I'll contact you all sometime over the next couple of days with the secret.

I have been busy playing with my new stash I received today....whooooo.(pictured below) ... Just have a look at some of it..

I got heaps of new goodies, lots of new stamps, various punches, some chipboard, ribbon, lots of papers and card including the new SB Essentials textured 12 x 12 card stock and I also got some Smooch and a new Rollagraph Wheel....
I didn't really make anything exciting just had a play and experimented... Hopefully I should get some creating time over the weekend for next week Blog War Challenge and some Workshops I am working on.

I have to confess...because I was busy playing (guilty), and I had other day to day things to do, like shopping..Lol.. I didn't get a chance to make the card I had planned for the challenge...but I will save it for another time....

So I have cheated with todays card...I actually made this card over 4 years ago (before becoming a Kaszazz consultant). I use to go to monthly craft Workshops with a Kaszazz Consultant (formerly Crafty kids) who is now my up-line.
To enquire about in home Workshops drop me an email here

I have stamped the Large Net (1094LK) randomly in Vintage Photo Ink onto pale blue base card, then mounted the Lazy Daisy (810LK) stamped image (also inked in Vintage Photo) onto the base card. She was coloured using Pebbles Chalks. Very simple and easy to make.

Have a Stamperific Weekend...

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC - Blog War Challenge - Project 2

Hi all,

Here is my project for the Blog War Challenge.

I made this gorgeous Waterfall Card using Bear Stamp set 4 (1847LM).

I've had this stamp set for a few years now (even before becoming a Kaszazz consultant).
The girls loved making these cards when I regularly taught making them at the local Craft Group (in S.A) a couple of years ago before moving to Qld, they are so much fun and not that hard to make.

Other Kaszazz products used were: Black card (6175) , White card (9014), Cinamon card -Heritage Pack(6218), Antique Silver Brads (4421), Black Orange Stitch ribbon (70960), also used "For my Friend Script " stamp(4083KF), the Bear images were coloured with Aquacolour Crayons.

You pull on the ribbon and the pictures flip over just like a waterfall, hence the name, and then reveals a hidden message - I stamped "For my Friend" on the pull card strip.... refer to images 2 and 3 below.

I just love how the second teddybear image looks like its trying to peek out from behind the first one.

Image #2

Image #3DH was suprised to learn that I don't have all the Kaszazz Bear Stamps (well not yet..... give me time and I will..lol) ... because I am an avid Teddybear collector..my craft room plus other rooms in the house are over run with them ..I use to say I needed a house extension just for the bears....I was so sad when I had to down size my collection when I moved to Queensland :( , you wouldnt know I have downsized as I still have lots. :)

Cheers

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC - Blog War Challenge - Project 1

Hi all ,

I hope you all had a great week end.

This weeks Challenge is "Teddy Bears Picnic" - showcasing our many gorgeous Teddy Bear Stamps.

The "Bears- Friends " (4072KM) image was stamped in the centre of the card and were Black Embossed (10017) and then coloured them using the AquaColor Crayons(4542). I also used "Bear Paw " (4003KC),"Happy Birthday" (4085KF) and "Hand made by Daisy"(4023KC) on the back of the card.

I carefully cut around the bear top half of the image using the CutterBee Knife (EKCKR01), I put a piece of Oatmeal Card (9690) insert to cover up the cut hole..(refer to second photo).
I also stamped the paw prints on an envelope to match but forgot to put it in the photo.

Here is a photo of the back of the card .

Hope you like it.

Betty Boop - CARD SHARE

Hi All,

Here's a card I made this morning, which I made for my favourite niece who's birthday is next week. I liked the way it turned so I thought I would share it with you .. it was easy to create.

She is a mad keen Betty Boop fanatatic ... Well I hope she still is, she was 6 months ago. Who knows with teenagers these days ...they change their minds so often...lol

I printed the picture from off the internet onto some White card stock, I used the lips stamp from the recently retired Romance Inkums Set ... It was inked in Orchid Pastel Chalk INk...

I used the Birthday sentiment from Kaszazz Mini Messages Endearments Set (4177KK)..added a yellow rhinestone to her belt and then inked around edge of white card with Dark Peony Chalk ink before matting it to Juneberry bazzill (4220) base. Finished card size was 16cm x 12 cms

P.s. She is going to get a nice surprise when she opens it up..lol ... ssshhhhhhh I put some sequins and birthday shape confetti in it. I know I'm wicked but she will love it...

ACETATE " Blog Wars " - Project 3

Welcome to today's Blog War Challenge creation.

I inked the Angel Wings (1960) stamp (released earlier this year) with Snow Cap Paint Dabber (ALD22671) onto the acetate and also around the edge of the acetate, stamped the heart image from the Love and Cherish Set (4126KO) onto white card inked with Prussian Blue Chalk ink and cut out.

I added a torn piece of Script/Sky SB Paper (4748) to the inside of the card, and a strip of Cream /Black Diamond SB Paper to the front of the card (4796) and trimmed with some White Grosgrain Ribbon (70550).

Just a hint to hide your tape from being seen on the other side add a small piece or larger piece of SB paper or card behind the area on the other side of the acetate.

ACETATE " Blog Wars " - Project 2

Hi All,

Welcome to today's project for the Blog War Challenge.

I thought I would make something different than a card today..so I created an Acetate gift box... I have put lollies inside , but could be used to put a lot of things in it, potpourri, bath salts, even a small gift.

I also used Petunia Bazzill and Parakeet Bazzill .. I tied a piece of ribbon around the box and tied a bow at the top and I also used some rhinestones for some bling. You could aslo add a little gift tag to the bow for a personal touch.

Cheers

ACETATE - BLOG WAR - Project 1

Hi All,

I hope you had a fabulous weekend....Mine was filled with relaxing, gardening and household chores...

Guess who stayed up till 4am this morning watching the tennis ..... But it was well worth watching the Wimbledon Final with Roger Federer and Andy Roddick... play went for four amazing hours and 18 minutes.. With Federers win he became the best Tennis player in Modern history..taking out his 16th Grand Slam title..

So I'm really feeling late night/early morning right now...

Well enough about the tennis and onto today's Blog War Challenge....

This is a quick post and I hope I will get better pics of the cards tomorrow..as Im not sure if it was my eyes that were out of focus ..or because the batteries were going flat on the camera but none of the photos I took looked great so this is the pick of the best, plus the card not being as easy as I had planned in my head didnt help..but the end result was this gorgeous card.

I made an window in the White base card and covered it with acetate, cut a slightly larger window in the PInk Bazzill.

The Butterfly image was stamped in Pool -Paint Dabber onto acetate then cut around with a knife.

I added some Icestickles to the underside of the butterfly wings and added some rhinestones from the Flourish bling stickers to highlight the body, attached it to the acetate window using glossy accents... I stamed the Iris stamp on the inside of the card so it could be seen thru the acetate window and then added the Milestones sentiment.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card...

Ok..I'm off to bed..Night all

" BLACK IS BLACK " - Blog War Challenge Project 2

Hi All,

Here is todays creation for the Blog War Challenge.

I used my corner rounder with the guide removed to create the scallop edge on a strip of White and also Black Card on both edges of each, the Happy Birthday sentiment has been white embossed .

A piece of Cupcake /Stripe SB Paper (4831) was matted to white card stock, finished off by adding a knotted piece of white Organdy ribbon. This then was attatched to a White base card

Cheers
