This Week PoW - Rollagraph

Hi

This weeks PoW (product of the week) is the Rollagraph.

The Rollagraph stamping system is fun, easy to use and is ideal for decorating many different products.

It consists of three key components, the continuos rubber stamp wheel, a moulded handle which holds the wheel in place and an ink cartridge that constantly reinks as you stamp. (regular handle and wheel shown below)

Rollergraph wheels come in 2 sizes, regular size and Jumbo (jumbo wheels are twice the size of regular sized wheels) which is perfect for creating wrapping papers, book covers, scrapbooking pages and more....

Kaszazz offers many great designs in both sizes, which are terrific on their own, but they are even better when you add some colour (Lyra Aquacolor Crayons).

Rollagraph wheels can also be used with Colorbox Inkpads, and also we have the Colorbox Stamping guide which makes it easier to keep you wheel straight. As a bonus the Rollagraph wheels (regular and Jumbo) fit the Stampress (12000) on page 95 current catalogue

Rollagraph ink cartridges -Ancient Page - permanent dye ink , quick drying, waterproof, acid free and smear resistant, come in a variety of colour range..please check our online catalogue for style of wheels and cartridge colour (pages 86 -94)

2 - 3 Step Stamping (PoW) - Day 3

Hi all

Here is todays creation..finally..after the forth try... I can't help being a perfectionist.

They all had their little faults. So I have extras, one for me, one for the competition and the others I can give to friends.

They were probably all good enough to take a picture of and upload, but I want to give you the best creations I can....Dont you hate it when you finish a card and you put your inky finger print on it...lol.

Even DH commented on how nice this card was after I had made the first one with out any prompting from me first..yes , even with its fault.

I loved this technique when I first saw it a while ago, but never tried it till the first time today....and I'm hooked.

In today's I used our 2 step Butterfly Stamp set (6272) stamped on White 8 x 8 Card(9127), also used was the grass reeds from our Spring Time Stamp Set (4112KO), Thinking of you Stamp (4095KE) Flourish small Stamp (4082KE) Orange ink Pad (15013), Ancient Page Coal Black Inkpad (72010) Ancient Page Palm Leaf Inkpad (72089),Pebbles Chalking Set - Basic Brights (42001).

This gorgeous background cloud technique is currently featured in our new "Whimsical Love" Scrapbooking Workshop (you will complete a 12 x 12 layout plus 3 pockets), so if you would like to learn how to do this technique please contact me via email to book a workshop or if you would like more details.

This project has been submitted to Kaszazz.

****Dont forget to leave your comments on my PoW posts and you could win my creations from the past week. Only comments left on my Blog are eligible for the competition.******

Please check out the other girls creations, the Blog War list is on the right hand side menu...we have a new participant.

2 -3 Step stamping (PoW) - Day 2

Hi all,

Here is today's creation....I have used the 2 step Butterfly (6272).

other Kaszazz product used are SB Paper - Flower Scatter from our "Ooh-La-La range, Parakeet Bazzill,A5 White Card, the image was stamped using Colorbox Chalk Ink - Dark Peony and Orchid Pastel.

The butterfly was mounted with Magic mount, and Ice Stickles were added to the wings and to the body to add a bit of sparkle. I love this stamp, I prefer the outline offset to the solid image as it give more character and depth.

I also added silver fasteners (brads) from Antique Collection (4421) , as I thought the Oooh-la-la paper frame needed something a little extra.

I have submitted this project to Kaszazz

All products used to create this card are supplied by Kaszazz, to find out more details on any of the products I have used or hosting a Demonstration please contact me by leaving a message here on the comments page or via email , and I will get back to you.

2 - 3 Step Stamping (PoW) - Day 1

Welcome

Todays PoW (Product of the Week) is 2 -3 step stamping...

This is one product I dont have many of (not by choice) its because I have had other needs/wants at the top of my list, I'm sure with this weeks PoW inspirations things will change.

I have 3 complete sets and I have 3 stamps that are missing their other half, but no way does this mean my ideas are limited as there is a huge number of ways to use what I have got.

Today I use the 2 step Frangipani small (6277). I used the frangipani outline using Dark Peony usig a Fade Technique on the background, which means stamping 2-3 times without re-ink the stamp in between.

I used our newly released Blending tool (IBT23616) around the edge (Dark Peony) of the base card, see how it gives a darker shade on the edge and gradually lighter on the inside edge?

The centre 2 Step Frangipani was stamped in Dark peony (out line) and Orchid Pastel (solid) (71503), then matted this to a piece of Petunia Bazzill, this was attached to the base card with Magic Mount (1292).

I highlighted the centre of the flowers with Yellow chalk from the Pebbles Inc Chalking Set - Basic Brights (42001), lastly I added some Ice Stickles (4016) to the centre flower.

Punches - Day 5 (PoW) - Blog War

Hi and welcome.....

Seen as it is the last day for punches (PoW), I thought I would have a bit of fun.

Several of my family members male and female) are avid 8-ball players and have played in interstate competitions and Leagues etc, so this is where my inspration for todays card came from.

Its a bit hard to design proper 8-balls, so I decided to do the next best thing, which is a snooker table.

This card uses the medium circle punch and the small circle punch, also Bazzill and cardstock

Dont forget to leave your comments to be in the draw..Competition closes this Sunday, winner will be announced on Monday.

Punches - Day 4 (PoW) Blog War

Hi all,

Welcome once again to my Blog and to day 4 (PoW) creation.

Todays card combined 2 of my favourite things (besides the obvious of papercrafting and using punches)..... As you can see by looking at a few of my cards I love inking around the edges of images and cards, and the other is I love the colour purple. I actually used 2 inks around the edge...Wisteria and Lavender.

I pin pricked around the edge of the image on the Purple Bazzill.

Today I have used the medium circle punch and also used the corner rounder with out the guard to do a scalloped edge at the bottom.

**Dont forget to keep leaving your comments to win, Winner will be announced on Monday.... Thank you to all who have left wonderful comments already.

Check out what the wonderful, creative blog war paticipants have been up to..list is on the right hand side menu.

See you tomorrow with the final creation for this weeks PoW.

Happy stamping or maybe I should say "Happy Punching"

Punches - Day 3 (PoW) - Blog War

Welcome Papercafters,

Making this card, just seemed to flow easy today..Hope you like it...I do.

Today's creation used the Whale Retro FLower Punch(PSPWP06) and the small Retro Flower PunchPSP92C).

Other materials used were Vintage Photo Distress Ink (TIM19527), SB Paper , Bahama Bazzill (4215), Mini Messages Stamp set(006KK) magic mount.

Quick Craft Tip - using punches -

If you find your punch sticking, try punching through wax paper, the kind you would use for baking.
If you don’t have wax paper you can make your own; take a candle, rub it over a sheet of standard copy paper and punch through this. The wax will allow the plates to glide past each other effortlessly.

For best results sharpen or wax your punches as soon as you notice they have blunted or are sticking.

Punches - Day 2 (PoW)

Hi all,

Sorry this is a bit late, but I had a very long and busy day....

Plus my brain isnt functioning right at the moment, I've been trying to think up some new ideas, as would you believe I have just submitted 2 workshops using punches and I dont want to give away any of those ideas .. just yet.

So yesterday if you recall, I used bright vivid colours in my card....

Well today I have gone for pastel tone and used the 3 sized Circle punches (9940) (small, medium and whale) and I also used the small Retro Flower Punch (PSP92C). The card is 3d with 2 of the circles having magic mount.

Quick Craft Tip - using punches -
As a first step in reviving a blunt punch I would recommend punching through normal kitchen tinfoil, always try this first, and do it several times if necessary.

If this is not sufficient then try punching through very fine sandpaper. It is important it is very fine as larger pieces of grit will scratch the cutting mechanisms rather than sharpen them.

Don't forget to leave your comments to win.... and check out what the other creative Blog War participants have done.

Happy Stamping...

Distress Ink - Day 3

Hello papercrafters,

Here is today's creation for PoW using Distress Inks.

Today's project can be used as a bookmark or a tag on a scrapbook page. I'm not sure what this stamping technique is called ( if I find out I will let you know), I was shown how to do this about 14 months ago, it gives a nice colourful effect, solid image stamps are best for this technique.

Firstly you choose 3 contrasting coloured inks ..Today I chose Shabby Shutters (TIM21490), Weathered Wood (TIM20257)and Vintage Photo (TIM19527)Distress Inks.

You ink up your chosen stamp I used the flower from the Flower Set (4806). Starting with your lightest colour ink....I used Shabby shutters Distress Ink , then directly over the top of the same ink I tapped Weathered wood inkpad ( next darkest colour) onto the stamp a few times ..then lastly use the darkest ink which in this case is Vintage photo and tap the ink pad onto the stamp. Then all you do is stamp the image onto your Large Tag (4642) /card stock, and the image has a tri-colour effect.

You could try the same technique using just 2 colours. Ivory card looks good too , experient with different colour inks and card stock.

I stamped "Smile (4130) " in Weathered Wood. Then added a piece of ribbon .

Distress Ink - PoW Day 2

Hi...Welcome to my blog,

I know........... I'm guilty of using the rose stamp 2 days in a row...but I absolutely adore this stamp, and as you can see it is so versitile and can be used in so many different ways with a different look each time.

In todays project I inked up the Rose Stem large with Walnut Stain Distress Ink (TIM19534) and stamped it onto a piece of Oatmeal A5 card (9690) and I also stamped Remember (1776LF) sentiment . I cut around the rose and cut the words into a tag..I sponged arond the edge using Walnut Stain and stapled a piece of ribbon.

For the base card I used a piece of Ivory A5 card(9358), inked up the Postcard Back small (1779LF) stamped it randomly all over the card using Vintage Photo (TIM19527), I then dabbed the sponged onto the card filling in the gaps using the same ink.

Lastly I mounted the rose and tag onto the base card.

Remember to check out the othe Blog war participants and see what they have created,te list is on the right hand side menu.

Winners this week will recieve my creations, all you have to do is leave a comment on a PoW, winner will be drawn on the Sunday and announced on the following Monday......Sorry competition is only open to people in Australia.

Distress Ink - Day 1

Hi all,

I'm back as promised...Here is my creation for todays PoW.

I first stamped the Script Background stamp ( 4077KM) in Weathered Wood(TIM20257) Distress Ink onto a folded A5 White Card, then used the same inkpad and sponged around the edge of the card(Base card).

I stamped the Rose Stem Large (1304LK) (newly released) also in Weathered Wood Distress Inkpad onto a strip of Oceania 12 x 12 SB Paper (4774) from the Castaway Range. I tore down one edge and rubbed some ink down the torn edge, I then attatched a knotted piece of White Organdy Ribbon (9310) then attatched it to the inked base card. I think the ribbon gave it a nice soft touch.

Lastly I stamped the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Mini Messages Set (0066KK) onto a strip of white card and sponged around the edge with the distressed ink, and then applied magic mount and mounted it to the base card.

Make sure you check out what the other creative Bloggers have make (links are on the right hand side menu).

Winners this week will recieve my creations, all you have to do is leave a comment on a PoW, winner will be drawn on the Sunday and announced on the following Monday......Sorry competition is only open to people in Australia.
